Coastal Grandmother Style

It isn’t particularly usual for a coastal style interiors story to find itself at the centre of international news headlines, especially when there is so much else going on in the world. But in the Spring when I was researching Styling Box schemes for a client’s Greek Island holiday home, and writing about coastal style for the August issues of Period Living and Saga magazine, a curious ‘Coastal Grandmother Style’ story was emerging from a Tik Tok influencer in California.

London Design Week 2022

Journalists, stylists and interior designers flocked back to London Design Week in Chelsea this week to see Spring/Summer 22 collections. Whilst there is plenty of bright colour, and shapely furniture emerging, my eye was also caught by wallpapers and fabrics in grand scale botanicals and earthy hues. London Interiors Show 2019

In its second year, The London Interiors Show (15 – 17 September) at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel offers interiors companies who don’t have a presence at The Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour a very welcome three-day opportunity to present their new collections to press, interior designers and the trade. Easter styling

I am no Mary Berry but if there is even a hint of an excuse to bake a C-A-K-E, then the oven is on and the cake tins are lined before a single egg has been cracked. Not only is it another styling opportunity but you can eat the props when the photographic shoot is done.
