I have been a professional stylist for several years, starting my career at Country Living magazine and then as a Homes and Lifestyle Editor at Hearst before going freelance.
Most of my work as an interior stylist has been working on both editorial and advertising projects for clients such as Marie Claire, Homes and Gardens, The Sunday Times Style section, M&S, Laura Ashley, Mothercare, Tissus D’Helene and Sanderson.
I am a stylist who genuinely enjoys just about any aspect of interiors. Personally, I am not fixated on one particular style but appreciate and can create any interior style. I expect you could say my own home is eclectic. I love the thrill of creating with originality, the best I possibly can for a client. I believe the work of a stylist is to be able to absorb many styles and then to be able to interpret them to brief with an image that might hopefully create a positive emotional response.
I was really pleased that my concept and styling won Best Print Advertisement for Sanderson’s 1950s collection of wallpaper and fabrics at the 2011 House Beautiful Awards.
In addition to styling for advertising and editorial clients, I also work on interior design projects for private clients too. In addition to this, I offer an interiors copy writing service and have an online interiors shop called White Vintage.
