Christmas gift ideas 2020

This year is certainly going to be different in terms of how we celebrate Christmas but I hope that whatever size our celebrations are, they bring a welcome distraction and boost to everyone’s spirits. As a freelance shopping editor, I thought I would share with you a few Christmas gift ideas which have caught my eye this year. The humorous, handmade, repurposed and charitable are always top of the list.

The Trussell Trust support over 1,200 food bank centres across the UK. The Trussell Trust provides emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, while also campaigning to end the need for food banks in the future.

Along with many other organisations, charity shops have been losing a lot of money due to lockdown. However, I am hoping that after 2 December they will be able to reopen again in time for Christmas. When budgets are tight and even if they aren’t, charity shops make great present hunting grounds. Especially if you set a limit of say £10 per person and then see what you can find!
